HO YI WAN PROMOTED TO RESEARCH SCIENTIST
Ho Yi Wan has been promoted to the position of Research Scientist by University of Montana, effective May 11, 2020. Ho Yi has been a member of UM since 2018.

HO YI WAN ELECTED AS PRESIDENT-ELECT OF THE ARIZONA CHAPTER OF THE WILDLIFE SOCIETY (AZTWS)
It was announced at the 53rd Joint Annual Meeting ( JAM) of the Arizona and New Mexico Chapters of the Wildlife and Fisheries Societies that Ho Yi Wan has been elected as the President-elect of the Arizona Chapter of the Wildlife Society. Ho Yi will be serving alongside President Andrew Jones on the executive board. Ho Yi's bio is featured in Spring 2020 Arizona Wildlifer newsletter (page 9). Click here to read the newsletter.

HO YI WAN INVITED AS A PANEL SPEAKER AT THE 2019 UPPER RIO GRANDE WILDLIFE CORRIDORS SUMMIT
Ho Yi was invited to be one of the panel speakers at the 2019 Upper Rio Grande Wildlife Corridors Summit in Taos, New Mexico. Ho Yi felt honored and humbled to speak alongside other great leaders in the same meeting, such as Assistant House Speaker and U.S. Congressman Ben Ray Lujan, and U.S. House of Representative, Congresswoman Deb Haaland. The meeting was a great venue for promoting policy, management, and research that help to protect and preserve connectivity and corridors for wildlife species.

HO YI WAN INDUCTED AS A NEON-ESA EARLY CAREER SCHOLAR
Ho Yi is thrilled to be inducted as a NEON-ESA Early Career Scholar in 2019. This year, a total of 17 outstanding scientists and educators have been presented with this honor. The NEON program also sponsored each inductee to participate in NEON workshops and events at the 104th Annual Meeting of Ecological Society of America (ESA). The meeting was held in Louisville, Kentucky, and Ho Yi was super excited because it was his first time visiting this part of the country!

HO YI WAN SERVES AS ADJUNCT PROFESSOR AT NORTHERN ARIZONA UNIVERSITY
Ho Yi is honored to be granted Adjunct Professor status at Northern Arizona University. He will be teaching many exciting courses at NAU, such as Conservation Biology, Wildlife Habitat Management, and Landscape Genetics.
